Work at Home Moms Business – How I Build My Business On My Spare Time
I’m your average stay at home mom. I get my kids up for school, brush their teeth, drive them to their destinations, listen to their problems, and do all of the standard mom things. I have a whole other side of myself that people don’t even know about. I have a work at home moms business – a way to make a living during the few hours of a day I’m not busy with my children. My business of choice involves selling different goods from different vendors and taking a percentage of the profits.
Basically, I have a set of products that I can sell to people. I sell coffee, clothes, makeup, or whatever else I think I can make money from at the time. I actually don’t pay any money for my work at home moms business either. I simply get customers to make purchases, and then I get commission pay. I have a few other people who work under me, and I make a percentage of their commission as well. I didn’t have any money to really get this going, so it was nice to find a way to make money without having it to begin with.
I started my work at home moms business by selling to people I already knew. Some of my friends from PTA bought my stuff, and they were the ones I actually ended up converting into salespeople. Over time though, I figured out that I could reach a whole different audience if I sold my products online. I got free website and starting loading everything onto the site in my spare time. Then I told all of my existing customers where to find my products, and I ended up making my business a whole lot more convenient for everyone.
Once I got my work at home moms business online, the rest was history. I started to spread the word about the site just like I did when I had plain catalogs, and eventually the traffic really picked up. I now just let the site do most of the work for me, and I just upload new products when I need to. I can take care of my kids and just check on the profits throughout the day. I wish I were exaggerating, but it’s really that simple. I love being a mom, but I also love being a support system for my family. Now, I can do both.
Nightmare on “timeshare” St.- Enter At Your Own Risk…..
Thinking of “buying” a timeshare property? One trip to a web-based search engine should be enough to dissuade you – forums full of people who regret their purchase of a time share and website after website offering to help people unload their bad investments. Personally, I would never involve myself in any high-pressure sales pitch situation. A typical transaction goes something like this: you are invited to a “conference” or a “seminar” on time shares. No obligation, mind you. In fact you are probably offered an attractive gift for your time – event tickets, travel vouchers, maybe a kitchen appliance. Once you arrive at the so-called seminar, your are subjected to an intense sales pitch. Most timeshare salespeople dress sharply and talk quickly. They try to put their audience “in the ether”, so to speak. They build excitement with stories of owning your own piece of a luxury resort, but do they mention the costs (to you) of maintaining your slice of paradise? Probably not. Do they mention that, should your abode burn to the ground, you may be responsible for a portion of the cost of rebuilding it? No. Do they bother to inform you that after your initial investment of thousands of dollars you will pay annual dues to pay for maintenance, property taxes, and the like? You’ll find that in the fine print after you’ve handed over your kid’s college fund.
The truth is that buying into a timeshare is like buying a used car and paying on it… for life! As the value of the timeshare unit drops (and it will), your yearly investment does not. In fact, your dues will probably rise over time. Do your research and you will see that I am not alone in my belief that throwing your hard-earned money at a timeshare is a bad investment. Don’t let the timeshare salesperson’s next Armani suit be paid for by your impulse purchase.
MLM Home Parties – How to Have a Good Time

MLM home parties are fun opportunities to make money in your spare time, or make a living as a whole. In essence, these parties are a way for you to provide entertainment for people and still sell merchandise that you get a commission check from. You might sell makeup, clothes, cookware, coffee, or whatever else you think will be a hit. As long as buyers are there and you’re making it interesting, you should walk away with some money for yourself. Here are some tips to help you host a fun and profitable event.
One of the first things you need to do is make sure you have the right product for the right people. Successful MLM home parties consist of needy customers and killer solutions to their problems. A group of food enthusiast will be willing buyers if you’re selling cookware, and working professionals will be driven to buy makeup and personal care products. You need to figure out what group of people your items most appeal to, and then you need to search for clubs or groups of people that may want to attend one of your parties.
You need to have some sort of hook to your party that makes it seem fun, rather than just a presentation to sell a product. People see enough ads on TV. They don’t need to experience the same with MLM home parties. You should have a set of samples from the company you sell stuff with, and with those samples, you can entice a lot of people. You can do free makeovers for women at your party because if they see how good they can look, they will be more likely to invest in makeup and the like. You can have a set of coffee already made for people to taste, and if they like it enough, they’ll buy some. It’s all a matter of setting the bait and reeling them in.
At all times, make sure your MLM home parties actually feel like parties. Don’t be pushy with your products. Instead, just point out the positive qualities of them and hope that people will see it. If someone doesn’t seem interested in buying something but rather looks interested in selling just like you do, you should see if you could recruit them. You might be able to get a portion of their commissions as a result. All the while, you get to have fun and meet new people all the time.

Affordable Business from Home – My Coffee Addiction Turned into a Business
I’m your average 40 year old guy with a dire need for my daily coffee intake. I have to wake up early for my job, so I end up spending a lot of money on the caffeine that it takes to keep me going. I used to buy all my coffee from a friend of my wife, but I started to think, “If she makes money selling me coffee, why can’t I just sell it myself?” With that thought, my affordable business from home was born. Here’s a breakdown of what I did:
I started by asking my wife’s friend where she got her coffee from. She said she was a distributor for a Healthy Coffee Company. I obviously knew about the products because I had bought them from her countless times, so being a salesperson myself didn’t sound like a big challenge. She could see I was interested, so she just asked me if I would want to do what she did. Apparently she could make commission if she got me into the program, so we were both on board for it. She signed me up, and I had an affordable business from home.
The reason I keep saying “affordable business from home” is because I didn’t realize that you could start a business with literally no money at all. I work in the corporate world – a place where money is the key to just about anything. I saw the opportunity to make a walk away residual by sharing the coffee with others , and it doesn’t cost me a thing. Basically all I have to do is sell some products from Healthy Coffee. I can sell them to coworkers, people my wife knows, or whoever else I want. Whenever they make a purchase, I get a percentage of the purchase price as commission. Then my wife’s friend gets commission pay from my sales because she directed me to the company. I don’t pay for anything at all.
If I can have an affordable business from home on the side, I think it could logically be a living for someone else. I happen to like my job in corporate America, but my wife has been awfully tempted to quit hers to work at home and spend time with our kids. If she does, I may get a portion of her sales as commission. That’s even more income for our household. No complaining here!
