PostHeaderIcon MLM Peeping Tom – What You Should Look Into Beforehand

mlm-peeping-tom

Before you get started in the world of MLM, you should best prepare yourself for what you are getting into, because it might not be what you are thinking exactly.  MLM, which stands for multi level marketing, is a form of marketing that is used by some companies.  Usually a company will go with this marketing method when they don’t want to pay to have a full time marketing team on hand.  With MLM, the company can simply find people to help them advertise and sell their products directly to consumers.  When you decide to join a company to do this for them, know that you are only paid when a sale is made.  This is why you should be an MLM peeping tom, so to speak, and look closely at a company before you decide to join with them.

Your first step in being an MLM peeping tom should be to conduct some extensive research about the company before joining with them.  You should look into every single thing about this company.  Not only should you look at the products and services they offer, but also look at the company’s history.  Look into things like have they been around for many years or are they just a new startup company.  Look at the business background of their CEO and if he has had any business failures before.  But most importantly, look at the company’s reputation.  Look reviews, forum posts, anything you can find that will tell about what others think of the company and their business practices.

The next thing you should do as an MLM peeping tom is to look at the company’s compensation plan.  This is just as important as the company’s history and reputation, as this will deal with how and when you get paid.  You should look at things like how much do they pay per sale when you first start out and how much you will make per sale later on once you gain more experience.  You should check to see if the company offers any kind of residual payments as well.  A good payment plan should offer a good balance between the two.

Another thing you should look into as an MLM peeping tom is how the company will want you to carry out the marketing.  You want to find out if they offer any training or give out any instructional materials.  It would also be a good idea to look into the company’s growth potential and what their future business plans are.

PostHeaderIcon MLM Junkie Collateral Damage

mlm-no-money

When dealing with MLM marketing, which stands for multi level marketing, it is sometimes easy to become obsessed with trying to find just the right person that can help turn your MLM business into a success.  Due to the way MLM works, where you are working with a company to help them promote and sell their products or services, you will only be compensated when you make a sale.  Sometimes people get so obsessed with trying to find the perfect person to join them that they become what is known as an MLM junkie.  And sometimes, just like other types of junkies, if you are not careful, there can be some unintended MLM junkie collateral damage that is done to either you or your business venture.

Suppose you have an MLM business setup.  You have joined a company and have lead pages and lots of contacts in which to help you sell the company’s products.  Then come across a prospective customer who you think will be able to earn you lots of money due to their status in the MLM business world.  You start to become obsessed, thinking that this person could help you and your business on the map, in addition to help bring you lots and lots of money.  You are so obsessed that you neglect to think about the possible MLM junkie collateral damage you could bring to you and your business if you are not careful.

So you approach this person and offer all the details about what it is you are selling.  They like the details and decide to come aboard.  Not only do they decide to join with you, but they also bring their whole business group to sign up with you as well.  The next thing you know, you are making much more money than you were before.  Sadly, here is where the MLM junkie collateral damage comes into play.

After spending all that time joining MLM businesses and trying to find a way to make it big, you are finally all set financially.  You continue to advertise and promote not just your latest business venture, with the new group you have found, but you continue to try and promote all of the businesses you have been with all this time as well.  You do not focus all of your time and effort into to the biggest money providing venture you are a part of.  In the end, the MLM junkie collateral damage costs your business, as you can no longer provide the minimum number of sales needed to stay sustain it.

PostHeaderIcon Surviving MLM – The Untold Story

surviving mlm

In an economy as bad as the one the world is currently facing, people are looking for any and all ways possible to make money.  When people lose their nice comfy salaried jobs, some bounce right back and land another job right away.  Many others, however, are not so lucky, as the double digit unemployment numbers remind us every single day.  After looking for so long and still coming up empty handed, a lot of people will become discouraged and realize they need to find another way to make money other than a traditional job.  Some people have found their way into the world of MLM, which stands for multi level marketing.  Surviving MLM, and becoming successful at it, however, is another story altogether.

Take Glenn Burks, for example, a gentleman that decided a long time ago that he was tired of working to earn a paycheck.  He realized that doing that would not take him as far as he wanted to go in life.  He checked out several traditional business opportunities, but almost all them needed more investment capital than what he had to spend.  After doing some research, he found MLM marketing and decided that is what would meet all of his needs.  MLM would let him work part time hours and it did not involve a huge startup investment that he couldn’t afford.  Best of all, it offered the two things he wanted most in a business opportunity; personal and financial freedom.  Surviving MLM would not turn out to be as easy as he had it would be, however.

When people research MLM, they will many times read about how much success people have found doing it, but what they don’t often see so much, are the difficulties those people had in becoming successful.  Glenn Burks did not have his new marketing business venture turn into the instant success he thought it would be.  Surviving MLM for him would not be an easy task.

He started running his business the way his research suggested, but he later learned the hard way that he had to work harder and come up with a better way to make his business work more efficiently.  He learned that the best way to go about surviving MLM was to not only have create a good business vehicle, but you also have to the skills necessary to meet the challenge of driving that vehicle, otherwise your business will fail.

PostHeaderIcon MLM Phone Chicken – Is Anybody Home?

MLM-chicken-phone

In the world of MLM, which stands for multi level marketing, you will be expected to contact a lot of people in order to help sell products and services for the MLM business you are a part of.  The way MLM marketing is structured, if you don’t make enough contacts and find people to buy the company’s products or services, then you won’t get paid.  MLM marketing is a marketing structure in which a company recruits people to help them promote and sell their products.  They only compensate someone when a sale is made, which should offer an incentive to most.  Since it is imperative to contact people and try to get them to buy products, the one thing you don’t want to be is an MLM phone chicken.

There is a term that is used a lot by those who work in MLM called a chicken list.  A chicken list is the term they have given to a list of potential people a person could sell to, but they are too afraid to call or contact them, for whatever reason.  Being an MLM phone chicken can be very detrimental to becoming successful in MLM marketing.  Some people reason that there are certain people who they don’t want to contact just yet, as they want to wait until later on, once they have found success in MLM marketing.  The problem with this thinking is that these people may never be successful unless are aggressive in going after any and all prospective customers.

Being an MLM phone chicken with a list of certain you won’t call until you are more successful offers kind of a weird paradox. As not calling these prospective clients could cause you to not be successful and thus, using the chicken list logic, you will never be able to call that person until you find success.  Many times, this arbitrary fear comes about because someone seems to think the people on their chicken list are more successful and thus on a higher level than they themselves are.

In order to be successful at multi level marketing, you cannot be an MLM phone chicken. One way to help yourself overcome these tensions and fears that present themselves and cause a chicken list to be created in the first place is to make sure you are prepared.  The best way to prepare is to familiarize yourself with the products you are trying to sell.  You should know these products inside and out and be prepared to answer any question about them that may come up.

PostHeaderIcon From Your Couch to 40K – A Lazy Man’s Tale to Financial Success

468x60Banner

Is it really possible to go from your couch to 40K? Yes!  However, here is the catch: you actually need to GET OFF YOUR COUCH in order to do it!  At first it can seem enticing, all of those great television programs, endless hours of relaxation, but sooner or later one must face the facts.  Sitting on your couch for days on end is no way to live and, especially, is no way to make a living!  The funny part about it is that so many of us, me included, have tons and tons of great ideas that come to us while sitting in front of our television.  However, these ideas will never end up making us any money unless we actually do something about them.

That is the most important part in going from your couch to 40K.  With so much time to think, there are plenty of great money-making ideas that come to us every single day.  However, we can often think that we have actually taken some sort of action on these ideas when, in actuality, we have done nothing more than spend more time in front of that darn television!  This false sense of reality can be a real income killer and can prevent us from fulfilling our professional and financial potential.

So, is it possible to go from your couch to 40K without putting forth a bit of effort?  Heck, no!  However, once realizing what kind of holding pattern that that big comfy couch and glowing box has you in, you can finally start joining the ranks of those making a substantial income.  It does not need to mean that you get a traditional 9-5 job and spend all of your free time working.  However, it does mean that you will need to get off that couch and start putting the ball in motion.

I know as well as anyone, sitting on that couch can seem all well and good for those first few weeks, maybe even months.  But, sure enough, those bills start coming in and you start living your life according to what television shows are on when.  It is a slippery slope and, oftentimes, it is hard to realize how far removed we are from the actual land of the living.  So, yes, you will have to give up a bit of TV time to go from your couch to 40K, but eventually you will replace that wasted time with a job that gives you enough money to upgrade that boob-tube into all-out plasma!
