PostHeaderIcon From Your Couch to 40K – A Lazy Man’s Tale to Financial Success

Is it really possible to go from your couch to 40K? Yes!  However, here is the catch: you actually need to GET OFF YOUR COUCH in order to do it!  At first it can seem enticing, all of those great television programs, endless hours of relaxation, but sooner or later one must face the facts.  Sitting on your couch for days on end is no way to live and, especially, is no way to make a living!  The funny part about it is that so many of us, me included, have tons and tons of great ideas that come to us while sitting in front of our television.  However, these ideas will never end up making us any money unless we actually do something about them.

That is the most important part in going from your couch to 40K.  With so much time to think, there are plenty of great money-making ideas that come to us every single day.  However, we can often think that we have actually taken some sort of action on these ideas when, in actuality, we have done nothing more than spend more time in front of that darn television!  This false sense of reality can be a real income killer and can prevent us from fulfilling our professional and financial potential.

So, is it possible to go from your couch to 40K without putting forth a bit of effort?  Heck, no!  However, once realizing what kind of holding pattern that that big comfy couch and glowing box has you in, you can finally start joining the ranks of those making a substantial income.  It does not need to mean that you get a traditional 9-5 job and spend all of your free time working.  However, it does mean that you will need to get off that couch and start putting the ball in motion.

I know as well as anyone, sitting on that couch can seem all well and good for those first few weeks, maybe even months.  But, sure enough, those bills start coming in and you start living your life according to what television shows are on when.  It is a slippery slope and, oftentimes, it is hard to realize how far removed we are from the actual land of the living.  So, yes, you will have to give up a bit of TV time to go from your couch to 40K, but eventually you will replace that wasted time with a job that gives you enough money to upgrade that boob-tube into all-out plasma!

PostHeaderIcon Weird MLM Stories

goofymlmstories

Virtually every adult in our society has been touched by multi-level marketing in one fashion or another.  Many have been successfully become marketers, many have been approached and declined becoming an associate and even more have been offered products for sale through MLM’s.  With that many people touched by a particular type of business, there are bound to be some stories out there about weird and unusual experiences on both the buying and selling sides.

At some point, almost every buyer will run into an odd situation with a seller.  This can take the form of illogical products or ideas.  One example of this might be a scenario where the recruit gives the sponsor X number of dollars, then the recruit is expected to recruit other and collect X number of dollars from each of them.  The original recruit then gives a portion of the money collected to their upline and is permitted to keep a portion, which is the “profit” for the original recruit.  This process is supposed to perpetuate so that each recruit is collecting and shipping money upward.  It seems a bit odd to just give money away and not actually be purchasing any goods, but still expect to make money.  Of course, there are the sellers out there that are different than most folks, too.  Quirky personalities can be exemplified by unusual products.  Defective demonstration products can add some spice to what would be a normal presentation, too.

MLM sellers will inevitably run into eccentric buyers along the way, too.  A seller may encounter a buyer or recruit that has unexplainable idiosyncrasies.  Perhaps the recruit is completely ready to sign on the dotted line and start their business and then suddenly won’t return any of the seller’s calls and effectively disappears from the face of the earth.  Maybe a buyer will only culminate sales on Thursdays at 1:00 PM, not a moment earlier or later.  There are those out there, too, that may be hoarders or reclusive or unusually paranoid that will take the transaction outside the realm of what most would consider normal.

Regardless of which side of the MLM world you are on, it is more than likely you have or will have a story to tell about it.  The key to remember is that MLM transactions involve people of all kinds and no matter how weird the situation is, it may still very well provide the outcome for which you were hoping.

This is not an a weird MLM story ,but it’s well worth taking a look it’s actually an MLM success story.

PostHeaderIcon Suddenly Guru – How Did That Happen?

how-to-mlm

You always dreamed of being financially comfortable or even rich, being your own boss, and only working when you wanted.  Suddenly you wake up one day and realize that it’s happened!  You’re there and have everything from your dream.  Wow!  Is it real?  What did you do to get there and, more importantly, can you sustain it?  Yes, you can sustain it, but there is a catch.  You have to keep doing what you did to get there in the first place.  This means you have to keep working.  It doesn’t become a free ride, just because you reached your goals.  Keeping them will be equally if not more challenging.

Think hard about all the things you’ve done with your MLM business to this point.  Consider the network you’ve built.  Look at how you’ve built it and maintained it because inevitably you have probably lost members and subsequently replaced them with new members.  Understand how you built the tier in your immediate downline and how you motivated them to perpetuate the structure.

Congratulations!  You’ve worked hard to attain the status you now have.  You don’t want to throw it away or lose it, so you have to keep working.  By now, you’ve been at it for awhile and it’s very probably second nature.  You get up every day and perform your tasks.  You make your calls, follow your leads, send emails, and work with the folks in your downline to help them with whatever circumstance they may be struggling.  It’s all become an intricate part of your being and the likelihood of you just stopping isn’t strong.  After all, what would you do with all your time, right?  That’s good, because the success will dwindle quickly if you stop.

After you have a complete grasp of all this, keep doing all of it.  Don’t assume you can stop just because you made it to where you wanted to be.  Now you have to do it to keep what you’ve earned.  You cannot expect your downline to support you entirely.  In order to maintain their respect, motivation and support, you have to continue to be you and do your job.  This will encourage and charge them to strive even harder to reach the same success you have attained.   You know this business like the back of your hand.  That’s why you have reached guru status.  Keep raising the bar.  It will do you and your downline a lot of good.

Here’s how several newbies are getting Guru status by using this unique sales funnel. Some went from not sponsoring a soul in their life to sponsoring over 10 reps in a single month. Here’s their secret Guru System

PostHeaderIcon MLM Newbies – Wet Behind the Ears

mlm newbie

Well, you’ve taken the plunge.  You’ve decided to start your own home based business through a multi-level marketing company.  What now?  Where do you start and how do you get going?  The deer in headlights feeling is pretty uncomfortable so you want to get going quickly so you don’t have to feel it anymore.

Start by doing an inventory of the tools the company you’ve signed on with offers.  They may provide you with a website.  If so, it likely has some kind of back office feature that will allow you to track leads from the website, view your status with the company in terms of sales, points earned, and so forth.  It may even provide you with tools for following up with leads and generating email campaigns.  They may have provided you with brochures or packets and perhaps even business cards.  Most likely that offer a series of training videos or conference calls to help get you started and keep you on track.

After you understand what you already have, make a detailed list of what you need.  If you don’t have the handout materials, like brochures and business cards, you will want them.  You can design a simple one page flyer and business cards and have them printed relatively inexpensively.  Make a list of all the places or people you could contact to sell your product or present the company for recruiting.  List all the places where you could place your handouts for people to read or pick up.  Be creative and think outside of the box.  If a website and back office system are provided, make sure you know how to maximize the use of all the tools offered.

Now that you have all the tools, it’s time to hit the ground running.  Start talking to people everywhere.  Don’t be afraid to pin a small stack of business cards on the bulletin board at the grocery store or leave them on a table at your dentist’s office.  Figure out creative ways to introduce your products to your friends and family.  Make sure they understand what you’re doing, so they can spread the word.  Take advantage of one of today’s most effective tools, social media.  Log into your computer and set up accounts on networks that work, like Twitter, Facebook and My Space, but learn to use them properly.  That means being genuine and authentic.  In other words, be a person and don’t just sell when you’re using these networks, interact and converse with people just like you are face to face.

Not too long ago I was an MLM Newbie-Wet Behind The Ears, but then I was introduced to a Network Marketing Legend that has helped me every step of the way in becoming a Master Marketer .Who new this industry would be so much fun.

PostHeaderIcon MLM Junkies -Is There A Cure?

mlm junkie

Addiction is partially defined as the condition of one being compulsively or habitually occupied by or involved in something.  Is it possible to become addicted to MLM businesses?  Absolutely!  We’ve all heard about one of them, read about one of them or know one of them, the MLM junkie.  This is someone that is crazed about every new gimmick that they come across.  They are convinced that the next one is the best thing since sliced bread and will make them an instant millionaire.  They sign up for every multi-level marketing company find, especially if they think they are getting into it on the ground floor.  When it’s all said and done, they are probably associates in dozens of companies, have spent thousands of dollars getting into these companies and have actually lost money rather than making it.

These are the folks that give multi-level marketing a bad name.  They inundate their friends and family with requests to buy products or sign up as recruits.  They perpetuate the unjustified stereotype of MLM companies as all being get rich quick schemes.  What can be done about them?  Can they be helped and in turn help you by not having to tell them no all of the time?  The answer is only if they want to be helped, just like with any intervention.

If you are in MLM, how do you prevent them from ruining your business?  This is more within your control.  You must promote your business responsibly and consistently.  Being responsible with promotion involves being persistent without being overbearing.  If people see that you are committed to one particular business they will be less likely to assume you and your business are just like the MLM junkie and his businesses.  You can also make sure that you have solid facts and figures to support your claims regarding your business.  This will assure people that your business isn’t one of the fly by night operations just gearing to take people’s money.

The probability of MLM junkies disappearing is slim to none, but their impact on you can be controlled.  On a personal level, you can choose to deny their requests, ignore them or avoid them.  More importantly, on a professional level, you can make sure you and your company are represented on a professional and respectable level.  This should minimize or completely negate the less than desirable impact these junkies could otherwise have on your livelihood.

Not an MLM Junkie anymore, here’s what changed my destiny Master Marketers United.
