When dealing with MLM marketing, which stands for multi level marketing, it is sometimes easy to become obsessed with trying to find just the right person that can help turn your MLM business into a success.  Due to the way MLM works, where you are working with a company to help them promote and sell their products or services, you will only be compensated when you make a sale.  Sometimes people get so obsessed with trying to find the perfect person to join them that they become what is known as an MLM junkie.  And sometimes, just like other types of junkies, if you are not careful, there can be some unintended MLM junkie collateral damage that is done to either you or your business venture.

Suppose you have an MLM business setup.  You have joined a company and have lead pages and lots of contacts in which to help you sell the company’s products.  Then come across a prospective customer who you think will be able to earn you lots of money due to their status in the MLM business world.  You start to become obsessed, thinking that this person could help you and your business on the map, in addition to help bring you lots and lots of money.  You are so obsessed that you neglect to think about the possible MLM junkie collateral damage you could bring to you and your business if you are not careful.

So you approach this person and offer all the details about what it is you are selling.  They like the details and decide to come aboard.  Not only do they decide to join with you, but they also bring their whole business group to sign up with you as well.  The next thing you know, you are making much more money than you were before.  Sadly, here is where the MLM junkie collateral damage comes into play.

After spending all that time joining MLM businesses and trying to find a way to make it big, you are finally all set financially.  You continue to advertise and promote not just your latest business venture, with the new group you have found, but you continue to try and promote all of the businesses you have been with all this time as well.  You do not focus all of your time and effort into to the biggest money providing venture you are a part of.  In the end, the MLM junkie collateral damage costs your business, as you can no longer provide the minimum number of sales needed to stay sustain it.
