Multi-level marketing opportunities are everywhere these days. Just about everyone has had some exposure and has some familiarity with some type of MLM program. From household brand names, like Tupperware and Avon, to less well known opportunities, there are many great networks that you can choose from as a means of generating income. Of course, once you have found the opportunity that fits you the best, you want to watch it grow. You want to let the world know about it. But where do you start? Here are some secrets to marketing your MLM opportunity.

Tap into your own enthusiasm. If you want people to get excited with you, you need to be excited first. People often have the misconception that excitement is something reserved for children and people who win the lottery. The truth is, it is OK to get excited and to show it. Demonstrating to your prospects that you are excited about your opportunity and explaining to them why is the single best way to get them excited about it too. When people see that you are really, genuinely impressed with the program yourself, they are more likely to want to listen.

Use your own words. People hate to feel like they are being read a script. Your business opportunity probably has a lot of great support literature that you can learn from. It is bound to be chock full of great facts and figures, that are really compelling to you. The temptation is there, to spout off direct quotes from that literature, when you are engaging a new prospect. The problem with that is that it often sounds like someone else putting words in your mouth. Unless you are an Oscar Award worthy actor, it is unlikely that you will be nearly as believable saying what someone else wants you to say than you are when you are using your own words. Say it your way and people will be more likely to listen to what you have to say.

The bottom line when trying to market your MLM opportunity is this: People respond to people more than they respond to products. A great product that nobody wants to talk about is going to collect dust, while a mediocre product that has enthusiastic people promoting it gains charisma. Make your presentation your own, broadcast your enthusiasm and you can expect to see your numbers improve almost immediately.
