7 Signs Your Network Marketing Downline Has Lost Interest
Multi-level marketing can provide many great opportunities to people just like you to make remarkable amounts of money. From just bringing in a little extra cash to completely replacing the income from a full time job, there is nearly limitless potential in MLM opportunities. The one and only thing that truly dictates your success is the strength and interest of your downline. If they stop being interested, you can quickly find your income dwindling. To help stop this before it is irreversible, you need to identify waning interest. Here are 7 signs your network marketing downline has lost interest.
1 – Lack of communication – As with so many things in life, communication is key to success in network marketing. You need to be able to get information to your organization, and you need to get information back. If you find that a rep stops taking or returning your calls or emails, then odds are they are losing interest.
2 – Lack of Attendance at Local Events – as a network marketer, you know that local events are a great way to drum up enthusiasm and excitement for your product. When a prospect stops attending, this is a pretty clear sign that they are losing interest.
3 – Drop off in purchases. If your downline stops purchasing the products that you are selling, the chances are that they are losing interest in what they are selling.
4 – Decrease in Lead Sponsoring -This may seem pretty obvious, but it bears saying, if one of your prospects suddenly stops recruiting new talent, it’s a pretty good bet that are they are losing interest.
5 – Missing Weekly Meetings – Your weekly meetings, be they conference calls or face to face, give your reps and you a chance to talk about how things are going. Reps that stop attending, don’t want to talk about things, which is a clue that they are becoming disinterested.
6 – Reluctance to attend regional events. Regional events are a great opportunity to for team to meet and mingle with others in your business. Reps that pass on this chance are less likely to stick around than those that show up.
7 – Go with your gut. Just as you can tell when you are talking to a potential customer or prospect that they are either interested or not interested you can get the same sense when talking to your downline. If you get that feeling that they are just not “into it” anymore, chances are that they are not.
Recognizing lack of interest can help you keep your business growing, by allowing you to address it quickly.
