Thanks for listing what it take to build an online presence. Many people, who are just starting, try to make a big splash without understanding the process involved and just end up spinning their wheels. They don’t understand that you need a plan to make it work. Using your list as a checklist who make their journey much quicker and easier.

The online presence is where its at. How big is the online market? Oh yea just a little bit bigger than your 100 friends and family. And you don’t even need a long distance plan.

I think that on today’s rapidly changing business environment you need to use several methods in order to build serious online presents. You need to use social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Youtube. You need to build a blog with valuable content on it. You need to have at least several hub pages, and you need to write articles. All these methods must have.

I wonder why so many people forget that and think 1 or 2 marketing techniques is all they need to do.

There are so many ways to develop a presence online, that anyone on line should be able to do it. It is fun looking at all of the ways to help people see you. One of the keys is branding yourself online and not your product or service.
