MLM Sponsoring – Steps for Recruitment
If you are interested in joining a MLM program, you probably have realized through researching the basics that a great deal of success hinges on whether or not you are able to draw other people into the program, known as MLM sponsoring. This requires some proactive recruitment of other leads, especially when just starting out in this type of program. There are a number of ways to go about this recruitment process, including through personal phone calls as well as email campaigns or advertising on the internet and elsewhere.
To get started with the process of MLM sponsoring, you must first sit down and think about what leads you already have. These will be where the personal side of recruitment comes in. There are four different types of contacts that a person has: hot, warm, lukewarm and cold. On one end of the spectrum are the hot leads, which include a person’s own friends, family, or current coworkers that they already speak to at least a couple of times a day. The other contact types go in order of familiarity, down to the cold contacts as anyone in sales is familiar with, who are the people that one has never spoken to before. These will need to be approached with a more comprehensive sales approach.
There are programs that make short work of MLM sponsoring, including those that automatically advertise online for you and pull together lists of names and email addresses based on those people who seem like they may be interested in MLM programs. These are the people you want to go after first, before just straight cold calling or emailing. These computer programs pull together people who have already clicked on links advertising MLM websites.
A certain type of person seems to be more drawn to the possibilities of MLM programs, including those who are already working and making more than 25,000 a year. Those who are married with children are also more likely to sign on board for this type of program and are ripe for MLM sponsoring, because they are seeking a greater stability for their families. These are a few things to keep in mind when going after new people to sign up on board with you. There is a certain psychology behind any marketing work, including this type that requires commitment from different types of personalities and the willingness to recruit others. All of this goes hand in hand with marketing success.

Excellent post and great blog too!
Hey Carlos,
Excellent analysis. Way to many marketers are chasing the people that will never survive in ANY business, much less a marketing type environment. They are …and always will be … the \"get rich quick\" crowd. Unfortunately, they suck more time out of people than they are willing to give back, so marketing to the \"correct\" group greatly increases your adds of success.
