Recently there has been a tremendous shift from the MLM programs of old to a new opportunity that promises higher income potential.  This new model is called top tier direct sales and has many advantages over other marketing models.  What distinguishes it from other programs is that it deals exclusively with selling higher-priced items.  This might scare some people off because they fear a more expensive product will be harder to market.  However, this is not typically the case.  Not only that, but many people are actually making much more money than they were selling other, lower-priced, items.

One of the main advantages of top tier direct sales is that you have a better chance of increasing your income. There are many reasons for this increase, the most significant being that, with a higher selling price, each sale you make will bring in more money.  Obviously, selling an item at $2000 will make you more money than selling one at $20.  However, as mentioned before, many people tend to think that the price is a major deterrent.  But one of the great things about successful marketing is that what works well for one product works just as well for another.  Therefore, a second major benefit is that it does not add to your work load.

A third advantage of this structure is that many top tier direct sales programs offer higher commissions.  Just as a more expensive product results in more money, a higher commission increases your income even further by paying you a higher percentage of each sale.  Whereas MLM might pay you 10% of a $10 sale, you might now get 20% of a $2000 sale.  This brings us to the fourth benefit which is that it can actually be easier to sell a higher priced product.  Sometimes it is because people assume they are getting a better product.  Other times, it is because people considering these purchases are already actively in the market to buy them.  Either way, it is an easier sale for you.

The fifth advantage is that you are the one in charge of your own earning potential.  This is a very important distinction as MLM relies mostly on other people.  By counting on those downline to be as motivated and successful as you are is really gambling with your income.  As top tier direct sales offers but does not rely on outside residuals, your efforts will allow you to benefit most fully from the higher price points that this structure offers.
