Work at Home Business-5 Ways Not to Fail
So you want to work at home, do you? It might seem the ideal situation, to spend your days in the comfort of your own home, dictating how and when you work, but there is a lot more involved than you might think. There is the potential for great success in a work from home business, but there is also the chance that you will fall flat on your face. Here are 5 ways not to fail in a work at home business.
1 – Remember that you are working. It can be tempting to get drawn away by other things in your home. The floors may need to be vacuumed. The laundry may need to be put away. Dr. Phil might be on TV. Just because you are home, doesn’t mean that it is a day off. Remain focused on work during work time.
2 – Set up a work space. You should never bring your work home with you, even when you work from home. Make sure that you have a clearly defined and separate area of your home that you make your “office”. Don’t play in your office, and don’t work in the rest of your home if you can help it.
3 – Call it a day! Just because working from home allows you to not have to leave your home, does not mean that you should always be working when you are at home. Set yourself business hours and work during those. The rest of the time should be either family or personal time. If you don’t give yourself that time off then you haven’t gained anything by working at home.
4 – Get help. If you have small children, it can be very hard for them to see mommy or daddy at home and understand that you cannot always play with them. Send them to daycare, hire a nanny or schedule a play date for them elsewhere. You need to be able to give your work your attention when you are working and your kids your attention when you are not, so get help to make that happen.
5 – Don’t give up. It may take a while for your work at home business to truly take off and it can be easy to run scared back to a regular 9 to 5 job. Give yourself time and don’t be afraid to try. You will never succeed if you stop trying.
Follow these simple steps, and you will be on your way to work at home success!

The Entrepreneurs Formula to MLM Success
All entrepreneurs have one thing in common – the desire to be a success. No matter what type of business they are into, they just want to see it grow and take off. Upwards of 2000 entrepreneurs a day are turning to MLM ventures to start their own businesses. Multi-level marketing opportunities allow people to capitalize on an existing product or service while still owning and operating their own business. This sounds like a pretty straightforward and sweet deal, but there are many pitfalls and ways to fail. Those that succeed seem to do so almost formulaically. To get on that ride, you need to follow the entrepreneur’s formula to MLM success.
One of the biggest reasons that people decide to explore an MLM opportunity is that it allows them to step into a pre-made business model. This means less initial start-up cost and less time needed to build an infrastructure. In most cases, the marketing materials, products and packaging have already been bought and paid for, all you, as the entrepreneur need to do is take the ball and run with it. The one thing that you need to make sure of before you do start sprinting though is that the business model is a good fit for you and your market. Nobody can hope to succeed at selling a product or service that they don’t like or believe in, so make sure that it is something that you can get behind. Make sure also that there is a market for the product or service where you will do business.
Once you have found the right business model for yourself, make the investment of time and whatever money is needed to get started. Concentrate on slow, organic growth, focusing first on selling the product or service and next on prospecting leads. People are more likely to want to sell your product or service for you if you are able to sell them on the product itself, rather than the money making opportunity. Once you have your pitch on your product or service down, you can start channeling some of that energy into recruitment efforts.
Keep in mind that, no matter how much success you are enjoying today in MLM there is someone in your downline that may be struggling to succeed. Reinvest your time and resources into helping your downline become successful in their own right, and you will see even bigger returns in your own business.
Network Marketing Prospecting-How Not to Fail in Your First 90 Days
According to a recent study, nearly 2,000 people are signing up for some sort of network marketing opportunity every single day, making it one of the fastest growing types of business in the world. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these people will drop out within the first 90 days, because they just couldn’t seem to cultivate any true success. A business venture that once had them really pumped up and excited proves to be a dismal failure and has accomplished none of the great rewards that enticed them to join up in the first place. Succeeding in network marketing is not easy, but with proper network marketing prospecting, it can be done.
Regardless of what industry the network marketing venture operates in, the best income potential for the owner/operators never comes from selling the actual product, it comes from prospecting leads. All MLM ventures are built on people. Each business owner has a downline of other people working for them, selling the product and the company to new prospects. Prospects are told that the product or service will sell itself, and that they should mostly focus on selling the opportunity to make money to their prospects. The problem is that trying to do this leads most people absolutely nowhere in a very big hurry.
If you want to succeed at attracting people to your network marketing business, you need to stop focusing so much on trying to talk people into selling your product. If you focus instead upon selling them on your product or service, then they will be much more open and interested in selling the product. If you think about why you were eager to sign up with the MLM venture that you are with now, chances are that it had a lot to do with your interest in the product and in the level of expertise and knowledge that your eventual sponsor had. Becoming knowledgeable about the business and being able to close the sale will also help attract prospects for you to sponsor.
Slow steady growth is the most sustainable type of growth that there is. If you spend the first 90 days of your network marketing venture educating yourself on your product or service and focusing on getting people excited about the product, rather than the opportunity, you will be pleasantly surprised. Not only will you bring in some income from the product sales, but you will attract much more viable prospects that are genuinely interested in the product or service, not just the money making opportunity. Those are the types of prospects that will carry you through your next 90 months.

MLM Prospects-5 Ways to Sponsor More
If you are going to succeed in any type of multi-level marketing venture the key to that success is your downline. Although you may generate some income from direct selling to customers, the real boost is from adding new reps to your downline. Building a healthy group of prospects that you can sponsor from is the single most important activity that you can spend your time on. So how can you grow MLM prospects? Here are 5 ways to sponsor more.
1 – Be enthusiastic. People want to join people that appear to be having fun and enjoying themselves. Not to say that you should party all of the time, but if you enjoy what you do and you want other people to join you, then you should show it.
2 – Be available. New MLM prospects may be nervous about taking the leap. They may worry that they are not really cut out for the business and think that they can’t do it, no matter how much they want to. Answer their questions, no matter how many times they need to ask them. Answer their calls and be there as much as you can.
3 – Follow up. It is very easy for someone to get all fired up about your opportunity at the meeting. They may gather information and paperwork to take home with them. Then they get out the door, and they start to lose momentum. Call your prospects the next day and ask them what questions they may have. Offer to help them fill out their paperwork. Keep the ball rolling!
4 – Go out of your way. MLM prospects may come up with a million and one excuses for why they can’t make it to this or that event. Most of the time, they make those excuses because they are scared. Be willing to hold their hand through the process. Offer to give them a ride to the next event. Send then a handwritten thank you note for coming. Make sure that they know that you appreciate their time.
5 – Learn when to back down. Not every MLM lead is a prime candidate for sponsorship. Some people are just not cut out for the business or are just not ready to take that next step. If you get the sense that someone is no longer asking questions out of interest but instead to be polite, then it is time to move on. Nobody likes the hard sell, especially after they have already made their decision.
